Derrty Entertainment Record Label was founded in June 2016 by IMVU’s very own Nelly. Based in University City, Missouri Derrty Entertainment was built so people were able to get their chance of gaining success within the music industry.
Nelly choose to open Derrty Entertainment in University City, Missouri because not only is it where he calls home but it’s also where Nelly 1st found success as a part of the Hip-hop group St. Lunatics. At the height of his success Nelly wanted to give back to the IMVU community by opening up Derrty Entertainment allowing others to get a chance of having that success and with the help of family and friends Nelly brought his dream to a reality and open up Derrty Entertainment Record Label.
Derrty Entertainment is a full entertainment record label providing artists with touring and concert Production Company, music and filming production team as well as a music publishing team. Derrty Entertainment specializes in mainly RnB and Hip Hop wise expanding in to Dance and Bass music working alongside some of IMVU's biggest producing and engineering team.
With the best management team Derrty Entertainment aim to provide their artists with the best possible care and support that is needed to help artists grow inside their career. Derrty Entertainment management team is already working with artists such as Jeremiah, Bryson Tiller, Christina Aguilera and more.
Nelly hopes by bringing Derrty Entertainment to light that it will show each and every one of us that we all have some form of musical talent inside us.

4. Has hip hop gotten worse?
Hell yea lol Back then everyone had their own sound and music wasn't just about a rolex watch,chains & bitches lol. Everybody either has the same music producer or just going with that one hot sound thats popular.. Hip Hop I feel has lost the importance of society its sad we only have rappers like J cole,kendrick & others who address these issues on daily basis not just when something tragic happens.
5. Who do want to lead 2017?
Thats very unknown Im going stay Bias as possible lol. I have a lot of artist I like, some I don't like so its hard to say who will Lead 2017. I just hope the competitive,bars,battling ect all comes back into the Industry make it fun again for good times sake.
1. What is hip hop to you?
Hip-Hop to me is everyday life. Some songs we listen to past & present stills influences our society in positive & negative ways but its just our way of Freedom of speech.
2. Do you think djs are still needed in todays microwave industry when there is youtube?
Of Course Dj's are still needed.Without a DJ how else are you going to hype the club up or get your music played.Youtube is A big Factor in today's Society but technology can never Replace a DJ. Dj's are what make the parties Lit Af playing all different types of genres mixing & scratching Youtube can't do that lol .
3. Do you feel XXL cover was trash or flames?
The new xxl cover was trash I feel others should have gotten a chance to shine but its the society we live in. I think they should have some type of voting poll instead of going based off youtube and what's hot at the moment.
